It is for... everyone who would like to learn the pen

course is aimed at those who have not painted or scrap booked before, as well

Tutor profile: Ruth Watkins is a popular tutor who
has been sharing her love of decorative painting for many years, and she has
inspired many people to discover their creative side.
Recently she has had her first solo book “Hand Painted Rustic Cards” published
by Search Press. She is no stranger to seeing her work in print, as she is a
regular contributor to craft magazines including Crafts Beautiful and Quick and
Crafty.
She has also designed a popular range craft papers and rubber stamps in her

Additional information: Please bring a collection of
your favourite things such as photographs (photocopies only - not inkjet),
memorabilia such as theatre tickets, programmes, small souvenirs, a pressed
flower, a special note or other bits and pieces that you may wish to include in
your journal. Bits of favourite material, buttons, tags, ribbon etc. It may be
a nice idea to have some idea of what you wish to base your journal on before
the start of the course but this is not essential - and the creative process
often means that you end up with some completely different to what you thought
you would! If you have any craft items that you feel maybe fun to incorporate,
such as rubber stamps, beads, gel pens do bring them along.
