Unfortunately, children under the age of 16 cannot be accepted into any of our classes unless the course is designed for adults and children learning together. This applies to all courses so is not venue specific. If a crèche is not available information on childcare providers can be obtained from http://www.bucksfamilyinfo.org/
This information is
designed to help you to decide if this is the right course for you.
If you are having to buy the materials listed on the Course Information Sheet, we strongly recommend that you check with our bookings office, two weeks before the course date, (01296 383582) whether the course is viable before incurring expense.
If the required minimum number of students is not reached, we cannot guarantee that the course will run.

Dear Felt Making student,
Fabulous Felted Fabrics – XEATX03A9 (6 – 9 April 2010)
I am writing to inform you that Sheila Smith will not be able to take the above course due to ill health. She has severe problems with her hip and is awaiting an operation. She had hoped that she would be able to manage the course but has reached the conclusion that she is in too much pain. Of course she is very sorry about having to pull out.
However, you will be pleased to know that she has recommended Liz Clay as her substitute and we are very fortunate that Liz is available to do the course at short notice. I’m sure I don’t need to tell you that Liz is a renowned Textiles artist with an extremely busy schedule but, with minor adjustments to the course timetable, she will be able to fit it round the workshop she is committed to doing elsewhere on 6 April.
I attach the proposed course programme showing that the first session will take place at 8.15pm on Tuesday 6 April instead of 4pm start. The course finishing time will be 4pm on Friday 9 April instead of 12.30 finish. This will ensure the same number of teaching hours.
All participants are welcome to arrive at 3.30 on the Tuesday to be part of the welcome and introductions and to relax in the beautiful Abbey between 4 and 8pm.
Liz has international reputation as a Textiles artist and she has extensive experience of teaching felting workshops throughout the UK. You may like to look at her website prior to the course, which I'm sure you will find very inspirational - www.lizclay.co.uk
I feel sure that you will enjoy working with Liz and will benefit enormously from her expertise and her passion for textiles.
Please note the shared session on Wednesday evening presented by Barbara Weeks to delight all students on Easter courses.
I look forward to seeing you in April.
Yours sincerely,
ROSA MARIA WELSH
